Matthew Lee Robinson, composer and lyricist of Virginia Rep’s production of Atlantis, leads two exclusive musical theatre workshops on the show's set at the November Theatre, Marjorie Arenstein Stage.

The Singing Actor Workshop

Age 16 and over

Limited availability. Ten students maximum.
$120 (includes one ticket to Atlantis*)
Extend your vocal, acting and performance capacity in a masterclass setting using your own choice of song. Then, workshop a group number selected from the Virginia Rep production of Atlantis.
Participants can expect individualized attention.

Musical Theatre Technique Workshop

Age 15 and under

SUNDAY, MAY 5, 2019
9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Limited availability. Ten students maximum.
$100 (includes one ticket to Atlantis*)
Participants will develop vocal technique, harmony-singing skills and acting technique using a song selected from the Virginia Rep production of Atlantis. Participants will sing in a group setting, with opportunities for solo work.

Matthew Lee Robinson:

His latest musical, the stage adaptation of The Magic School Bus, is currently touring the U.S.

Writing credits include songs for the Emmy- nominated television series Dance Academy.

Churchill Fellow, winner of the UTAS Stephen Schwartz Songwriting Award

His works have been heard in concert at Carnegie Hall, Broadway’s Future Songbook Series, and the Sydney Opera House with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra.

On stage, Robinson has performed three roles for Opera Australia: Freddy Eynsford-Hill in My Fair Lady, Henrik in A Little Night Music, and Frederic in The Pirates of Penzance, as well as starring in the title role of Pippin at Sydney Theatre.
