Designed for students transitioning from Stage Explorers to more advanced camps. Each day, participants will rotate through performance courses, allowing students to connect with one another and their instructors to build a strong and dynamic ensemble. This camp is designed to transition students from a more informal theatre camp to a more structured, rigorous camp in YPI.
Virginia Rep is a nonprofit organization, and we strive to make our education programming as affordable as possible. Financial Assistance application is available by request. Contact Vivian Schwartz.
Vivian holds a master’s degree in Acting from the New School for Drama in New York City as well as a masters in Educational Theater from NYU. Working for over a decade as an actor in New York, Vivian found her love of teaching through the joys of youth-driven theater. She adores young people and believes with all her spirit that theater creates avenues for young people to develop their worldviews, empathy, and become contributing and inclusive community members.
Gracie is the Education Assistant at Virginia Rep and an actor in the Richmond community. With a BFA in Musical Theatre from VCUarts, she brings both performing and teaching expertise to her work. Gracie has extensive experience working with students of all ages, but is especially dedicated to inspiring a love of theatre in young people.
