Unleash your student’s inner playwright and performer in our dynamic devised theater course, specifically designed for older elementary through high school students. Unlike traditional theater where actors follow a script, this immersive program empowers students to become the creators of their own original production. Participants will collaborate closely to develop every aspect of their show—from brainstorming initial concepts and character arcs to writing dialogue, crafting movement pieces, and designing the overall vision. They won’t just learn acting skills; they will discover how stories are made from scratch, gaining invaluable experience in critical thinking, teamwork, and creative problem-solving. This unique journey culminates in a performance that is entirely their own vision, fostering confidence and a deep understanding of the collaborative art of theater.
