In 1996, to accommodate a full restoration of the Hanover Tavern by its new owners, the Hanover Tavern Foundation, Barksdale Theatre left for new facilities at The Shops at Willow Lawn, where we continued to produce both world and regional premieres along with the classics.
In 2012, Barksdale Theatre and Theatre IV merged to become Virginia Repertory Theatre. Our 2012 - 2013 Children's Season will take place at Willow Lawn.
