"A treat to the senses, heart, and soul, Martha Mitchell Calling is entertaining, informative, and thought-provoking"

Richmond Family Magazine

"Debra Wagoner fills Martha’s slippers with aplomb....the show should be lauded for its work to illuminate the life of a largely forgotten woman."

STYLE Weekly

"Revelatory... An intriguing and provocative start to the local theater season. Wagoner does a star turn as the ostracized socialite. Pabst is no slouch either."

RVArt

A humorous, yet poignant, exploration of Martha Mitchell (Debra Wagoner), legendary wife of Watergate conspirator and Attorney General John Mitchell (Joe Pabst). Flamboyant, formidable and often misunderstood, Mitchell demanded the truth even when no one believed her. Though ostracized as a traitor and abandoned by her family, she never lost her spirit, even as she called for Nixon's resignation. As Nixon himself told David Frost during their famous 1977 interview, "If it hadn't been for Martha Mitchell, there'd have been no Watergate." Read the press release.
