Dedication

With affection and respect—and the occasional involuntary belly laugh—we dedicate this production to the memory of Jerry Guarino. Jerry was Theatre IV’s first insurance agent. He also appeared opposite Pat Carroll in Barksdale’s ‘91 Hanover Tavern production of The Loves of Cass McGuire. But nobody remembers all that much about those accomplishments. It was his joy of life, his endless good humor, his determination to be best pals with practically everyone he ever met—all this and his willingness to help out whenever and however he could that permanently endeared him to scores of Richmond actors, producers, and fans. Jerry ole buddy, this one’s for you.
