The Scenic Carpenter reports to the Production Manager and Technical Directors and works to construct, transport, install, maintain and strike scenery for a season of programming in four distinct venues, an educational touring arm and special events.

This individual will work closely with Virginia Rep's Development Team and will report to the Assistant Director of Development. The Development Assistant will have an opportunity to gain administrative experience in this key role at a major nonprofit performing arts organization in Richmond, VA.
The Development Assistant position is an entry-level, full-time, non-exempt position with a starting salary of $32,000 plus benefits including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement with a company match.

The Managing Director will be Virginia Rep's strategic, financial, and operational leader, balancing the areas of season programming, education, fundraising, ticket sales, and community engagement. Reporting to the Board of Directors, they will partner with the three Artistic Directors to plan, organize, motivate, direct, and manage Va Rep in collectively fulfilling the organization's mission. The Managing Director will serve as the producer of all Va Rep performances and have responsibility for and oversight of all administrative operations, including fundraising, marketing, and finance departments, as well as human resources, facilities, and information technology. This individual will be an engaged member of the community, creating and growing partnerships with philanthropic supporters, theater professionals, stakeholders, and audience members. The Managing Director will use their knowledge and skills in the arts, education, community health, and social equity to strengthen programmatic initiatives and build an enduring institutional legacy.

The Electrics Apprentice reports to the Production Manager and Production Electrician as a member of the production staff to implement all lighting needs for a season of programming in four distinct venues, an educational touring arm and special events. Apprenticeships are seasonal appointments, with the possibility of renewal for a second season, and are designed to create access to entry level jobs to assist young practitioners in building skill and experience as they start their careers.
